TEA-riffic par-TEA favors!

First, off, apologies for the title of this post. I couldn't resist.

Believe it or not, I stumbled across this product in an article in Time magazine! Aside from being incredibly beautiful, these "flowers" are actually tea bags that "bloom" when steeped in hot water!

Developed by Numi Organic Tea, each "flower" is handsewn out of black, white or green tea leaves, available in a variety of flower styles and tea flavors.

In addition to being a novel gift idea for tea lovers, these seem like a natural party favor for bridal showers, baby showers, bridesmaid luncheons and (of course) tea parties of all kinds.

In fact, they could even be used as the table decor for any of these events -- just drop a few bags into pretty looking, clear glass teapots, add water and watch your "flower arrangements" come to life.

You know, I think I'd appreciate one of these waaaay more than the pot of silk flowers I recieved as a "door prize" at the last bridal shower I attended....eewww.
