Hmm... just realized that title might attract people looking for sex advice or something. Totally unintentional. As a matter of fact, I'm the one who's hoping to get some advice....specifically, for some interior design advice for our bedroom.
This room is already one of my favorite places in the house. Like much of the rest of the place, the room has gorgeous dark wood floors. To offset them, we chose a serene, spa-like color scheme of white, sage, slate blue and mustard yellow. Since this is where we sleep every night, we made the decision to invest in very good quality bedding including the quilt and duvet, both from West Elm. The sheets and pillows are from Target, but we went ahead and splurged on the highest thread count they offered.

We were thrilled that the tenants who lived in our house previously sold us the curtains for a song and they're a perfect match for the room. We were also able to find the lampshades ($5 each) and rug ($35 and another perfect match) at Ikea while we were picking up the furniture (all from the Hemnes collection).
So, the foundation of the room came together pretty quickly and everything really looks great, but then we got stuck. We've still got some empty corners that could use a chair or a plant and the main problem is the WALLS. We have a serious artwork deficit going on right now (I guess that's what happens when you move from a 1 br loft to a 4 br house).
With such busy bedding, I'm not entirely sure what to do with the giant blank space behind the bed. A collection of personal photos in various sized frames? A big piece of not-too-pricey artwork, perhaps?
One idea I'm toying with is playing off a clock that I already own similar to this one, by purchasing a few more in various styles from the Etsy shop I got it from. I was thinking a cluster of these guys might look nifty and we could set them to the time zones of the various places that are meaningful to us (Miami, Chicago, etc). I'm just not sure if it would come together.
Another wrench in the whole system: One of my favorite features in the room is the gigantic purple bouganvilla bush that fills the entire window. Its so pretty...I've been debating if we could/should try to pull it in with some purple accents???
Would love thoughts and ideas so bring em on!
Oh and, if I didn't make it totally clear, we're on a pretty tight budget so the cheaper the better!
Thanks and happy Friday!

I think the room looks gorgeous as-is now! And yes, the title of this post did make it sound dirty. Not even a little something something for me?
Thanks Jess. As a reminder...I'm nearly 7 months pregnant now. Trust me...somethin somethin of any kind would be quite a feat right now ; )
